San Mateo County Transit District

The San Mateo County Transit District (District) serves as the managing agency for the Peninsula Corridor Joint Powers Board (JPB), the San Mateo County Transportation Authority (TA), and the San Mateo County Express Lanes Joint Powers Authority (JPA). The Contracts and Procurement Department (C&P) supports all procurement and contracting activities for the District, JPB, and TA (collectively referred to as Agencies); the Agencies are committed to promoting transparency, efficiency, and cost-effectiveness in public procurement.

Effective July 1, 2024, the Agencies will utilize PlanetBids, a third-party platform, for our online Procurement Portal.
