Randol White is a self-described transit geek who came to the San Mateo County Transit District after a career in broadcast journalism. This Bay Area native worked as a traffic anchor for radio and television stations in San Francisco, Oakland, and San Jose back in the early 2000s. He also reported on transit over the years for stations in Sacramento and Santa Barbara, Calif., and Madison, Wis. Nowadays you can catch him commuting to work via bike, SamTrans and Caltrain from his home in Burlingame.
